christmas

so this is almost a month late, but o well.

this christmas was so fun. we are so lucky to have both of our families close by so we can spend time with them.

christmas eve we went to my grandparents for our annual bingo night. we weren't as lucky as years past, but still made it home with a few prizes.

 

 cal and jackson were great helps too.

that night we did our christmas traditions including the night before christmas game, and  my mom and dad's christmas devotionals.

it was fun to be at home and stay up late with my mom, sis, and sharsti wrapping presents, and setting up christmas. i love feeling the spirit so strongly as we talk about the real meaning of christmas, and reflect on our lives.

christmas morning was so fun. we got up early, waited for our christmas song to be played, and then we went to see the presents.

we were so spoiled for christmas this year, and of course we loved having calvin there. he got a stocking full of baby food, and teethers, and he went from no toys to tons thanks to mom and dad, i mean santa, grandma, and uncle jared.

after presents we ate some yummy breakfast, got dressed, and headed to alpine to go to church and spend the day with the asays. 

i love going to church on christmas. there is no better way to celebrate.

after church we ate a yummy brunch, and opened presents with all the asays.

the afternoon was spent relaxing, and enjoying time together.

lastly, we went back to my parents for a fondue dinner.

this was the last christmas with all of my family together before jared's mission, and it was perfect.
