after labadee, we had another day at sea while we traveled to the bahamas.
here's some of the fun things we did.
rocking climbing...
rocking climbing...

a bunch of the family went on a tour of the engine rooms down on one of the lowest decks. i didn't go, so j took some pictures.
i guess it was really loud and a bit stinky at some parts.
(for some reason i can't make this any bigger. you'll have to click it to see details)

one of the highlights was the flowrider...

there were some great falls:
josh

jd

let's zoom in a little shall we?

dan

and a close up..

here's jeff

and then jeremy. i didn't catch him falling because i was distracted by his cute son

that night we got dressed up for the formal dinner.
before dinner j took a picture of my belly progression.

i had borrowed that dress from mj, and i loved it..
but the belly made it a little short in the front so i ended up changing outfits.
all throughout the week, j was practicing his photography skills.
he is pretty good. here is proof:
the boats promenade, me, and the dining room.

speaking of photography, we tried to get a group picture after dinner,
but asking strangers to take a picture on our beastly camera is always a risk.
so i will not be posting that picture. the coloring is awful.
...
the last stop was in the bahamas.
we walked around until we found the beach

this picture makes it look a whole lot nicer than it really was.
it was pretty dirty and crowded so we didn't stay long.
then we walked to a pirate museum!

i seriously thought pirates were all pretend.. that disney made them up.
so it was really fun to learn about the real pirates of the caribbean.

there were lots and lots of places to shop there.
i felt right at home at the little swap-meet looking place.

here i am trying to talk a lady down on a purse...

her: hi pretty lady, what do you like?
me: how much is that brown purse?
her: 85$ but i will give you a deal for 75$
me: okay, never mind i only brought 40$
(the purse was cute but then i remembered i have a ton of purses and really don't want it)
her: okay, 40$ then.. (she starts taking all the stuffing out and puts the purse on my shoulder)
me: hey wait, i don't know if i really want it..
her: come on, start my day. just buy it.
me: no thanks (run away)
that was the end of my shopping....
...
the last night we had a nice dinner as a family,
and saw this lovely sunset

it was a great trip / babymoon.
a perfect break in the cold winter.
hopefully it will start warming up soon because i love spring!
until then, i will just look at these pictures and pretend i'm still there.
