so last night, j had a really big chemistry test that caused him to be out later than usual on a monday night. i turned on the tv, and the notebook was on.
i don't know if anyone's seen it or not, but basically is it about an elderly couple. the wife, ali has alzheimer's and the husband, noah reads to her all day from a notebook about their love story in hopes that she will remember him. their story is captivating. towards the end of the movie, ali does come back to noah - for a few minutes she remembers who he is.. they kiss, they dance, they talk about love... but after a moment she forgets again and pushes him away. she gets so upset at this stranger that the nurses and doctors have to come in and sedate her... noah cries.. i cried, alot... and it didn't help that j walked in the door around that time. he held me, and i cried.. he was so nice and empathetic.. and brought up the plan of salvation.. haha love that boy. so the night was a little pathetic, on my behalf, but i thought it was worth remembering.
times like last night, really make me realize what matter most to me. my wonderful husband. my loving family. amazing friends. it's all about love. john lennon was right, all you need is love.
the lds website is my homepage, and they post little videos that i love watching. here is one that fits my thoughts and feelings today:

Thanks for the spiritual uplift for the day! You are so great! I love the Notebook!
Nate and I watched the notbook together in your/our cute little home in Provo. It is one of our very favorite moments together. We both cried.... then cried some more. LOVE is an amazing.
