our trip:

day one consisted mostly of this:

we got up early and drove, drove, drove. that evening we met kylie at in-n-out for dinner. then we went and drove around rsm, and walked around this lovely lake:

j was a good sport, as alisha and i talked about the many family memories made walking that familiar mile in past years.

day two: carly's wedding!

lovely!

before the sealing

carly!

in my bridesmaid dress
it was awesome to finally be able to do more than baptisms in the san diego temple. carly looked beautiful. peter was glowing. hearing the words to the sealing made me fall even more in love with my eternal companion.
after the sealing and pictures we went and ate at CPK. then we went to the rainbow factory to get new sandals. changed and went to the beach for a bit, and then headed back to mission viejo for the reception. pictures from there will come soon.
day three: sunday
while living in orange country, my family and i had a very unique opportunity to be apart of the building of the newport beach temple. the temple was 100% paid for by the saints within it's district. each family was asked to do many things to help save up for it. one thing our family did was that we made and sold hundreds of enchiladas to our neighbors and friends. i remember going to visit the grounds from day one and going back frequently to see the progress. proof:

anyways, sunday morning we found ourselves walking around the grounds again:

what a sacred place.
we went to church and saw a lot of people we miss. after we had dinner at the anthony's. it was a lot of fun to be with them, even though kimmy is in the MTC. we love hermana anthony.
that night we went to dana point:
