remember how a little boy named vlad touched my heart?

his shaky legs, rolling laugh, and gorgeous green eyes...

the way those eyes lit up when i got there each morning.

well guess what?!
i got an update on him from a girl who's there now:

"I wanted to let you know he's doing well. He is seven years old and he's a sweetheart. He is currently living in an apartment in Tomești with four 2-3 yr old boys. He's pretty much non-verbal (he says 'alo and da, but that's it), but he smiles all the time, especially when he makes eye contact with us. He walks well, just kind of slowly. He still loves to cuddle and put things in his mouth. I don't know what else to tell you, except that he seems happy."
