craft time

when i was little, my summers were always full of trips to the craft store. my mom liked to keep us busy and she shared her love of crafting with us: boondoggles, knitting, bead animals, cross stitching, doll making, sewing... the list goes on.

recently, i have felt a need for some crafting.

i have a bunch of scarves from romania that i don't really use. i have also been wanting to decorate the wall in our bedroom. after a trip to wallmart for a hot glue gun, 3 small paint canvases, and some metal washers, i chopped up one of my favorite scarves and created this:

i got this cute pink mrs. tool kit at one of my bridal showers. it's so nifty i love it.
j loves it too. the pink hammer, measuring tape, and level were perfect for my project.
