j had some left over wood from the shelf he built in our laundry room.
we had leftover paint from repainting our desk.
and we both happen to love home depot.
with winter coming, we now have a place to hang our coats.

we didn't get any pictures of the painting process or the addition of the hooks and knobs, so this will do.
